(Tama County, IA) -- A judge has ruled that a man from Shellsburg, Iowa--northwest of Cedar Rapids--accused of helping a woman kill her husband, be held on a million-dollars bail.
Lawyers had requested lower bail for Huston Danker on the first-degree murder charge.
Danker confessed to assisting Karina Cooper in shooting her husband for what Tama County prosecutors believe was insurance money.
Danker's trial is set for November.
Cooper goes on trial in Linn County next month.
