(Neola, IA) -- A young child from Omaha is dead after being hit by a vehicle in western Iowa.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at a gas station in Neola, Iowa Tuesday afternoon when the two year-old child ran in front of a moving vehicle. The child was rushed to the hospital but later died of their injuries.
The name of the child has not been released, and so far, no charges have been filed.
