(Des Moines, IA) -- A new study from a national personal finance website looked at the top 100 most populated cities in the country to see where credit limits are decreasing.
WalletHub's study finds the average credit limit in Des Moines has actually increased by 46.48% for accounts opened in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the first quarter of last year. The average credit limit in Des Moines in the latest quarter is $4,516. The average credit limit in Des Moines grew by 18.6% from March of 2023 to March of this year. The study finds Irvine, California to be the city where credit limits are decreasing the most.
