(Moline, IL) -- The latest round of John Deere layoffs are hitting close to home.

The agriculture equipment manufacturer announced they'll be laying off more than 120 employees at their Seeding and Cylinder operations in their hometown of Moline, Illinois on June 28th.

It's the latest round of cuts at Deere this year that will see nearly 600 people lose their jobs in Urbandale, Ankeny, and Waterloo.

A Deere spokesperson says the company is adjusting its workforce and production levels in response to market conditions.
