(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The man found guilty of manslaughter in the stabbing death of Devonna Walker is sentenced to ten years in prison.
A judge today ordered Shane Teslik to also pay $12,234.35 in restitution to the crime victim assistance program, as well as $150,000 to Walker's children.
He is also ordered to pay a fine of $1,370.
Investigators say the stabbing happened outside Teslik's apartment in Cedar Rapids after an argument.
He will eligible for parole after five years.
