(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Shane Teslik is going to prison for 10 years.

He's the man from Cedar Rapids, Iowa convicted of voluntary manslaughter in last year's stabbing death of Devonna Walker.

Prosecutors say he lunged at Walker with a knife, during an argument, after using a racial slur.

A judge denied his appeal, and also ordered him to pay Walker's family 150-thousand dollars in restitution.
