(Des Moines, IA) -- The state of Iowa is asking for help from the US Department of Agriculture after a another case of bird flu was detected in a second Iowa dairy herd.
The discovery in a herd in Sioux County comes just days after bird flu was found in a dairy herd in O'Brien County.
The state is asking for USDA help with testing, and compensation to farmers for any losses of livestock or inventory.
