(Marion, IA) -- Marion Public Library members can now check out electronic bikes. The "Book-A-Bike" Program allows members to use the motorized bike for recreational or practical purposes.

The rule for riders is that they must stay inside Marion City Limits, with their motorized bicycles. To rent an e-bike, riders need to be a member of the Marion Public library and be at least 18 years of age.

The e-bikes are part of Marion's library growing non-traditional collection. The library also offers recreation kits, such as outdoor reading sets or a gardening tool kit.
