Second Arrest Made in Connection to Shooting Sunday in Des Moines

(Des Moines, IA) -- A second suspect is in custody and facing charges into a shooting in downtown Des Moines on Sunday.

Des Moines Police say the shooting happened a little after 2am Sunday on Court Avenue downtown. Police say officers on patrol in the area saw the shooting and responded immediately. Investigators say the suspected shooter tried to run from police but fell down during the chase. Officers were able to take 25 year-old Brandon Foster into custody.

25 year-old Andrew Woock-Shelton has also been arrested in connection to the same shooting.
