(Dubuque, IA) -- One man is dead of a self-inflicted gunshot after police were about to serve an arrest warrant in Dubuque Wednesday morning.
Dubuque Police say officers were attempting to make contact with a man wanted for two counts of third-degree sexual abuse when they heard a gunshot. Officers took cover an established a perimeter, before sending in a remote-controlled robot. The robot found the man's body dead at the scene.
The man's identity has yet to be released.
