(Robins, IA) -- We're learning more about the ties between the four victims killed in a quadruple homicide in Robins, near Cedar Rapids, last week.

A friend of one of the victims tells the Cedar Rapids Gazette that victims Amanda Parker and Romandus Cooper were a couple, living in the outbuilding were the crime occurred.

The building is owned by the father of victim Brent Brown who died in hospital two days after the attack. According to the friend, the fourth victim, Keonna Ryan, was Brown's girlfriend.

Thirty-four year-old Luke Truesdell from Marion is in custody charged with four counts of first-degree murder.

Police say he admitted to killing all four with a metal pipe.
