(Dubuque, IA) -- A black bear has been spotted in Dubuque.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources says the bear will likely move out of the Dubuque area if left alone. The DNR says black bears are typically looking for food, so residents are encouraged to remove things that could attract the bear, such as bird feeders and trash.
Iowa typically sees 1 to 5 black bear sightings each spring.
