The Omaha National Weather Service Office in Valley says storms are in the forecast for eastern Nebraska and western Iowa starting Tuesday afternoon as a frontal boundary moves across the region.
The storms could possibly be severe with damaging winds, large hail, and widespread 1 -to -2 - inch rains the main threats.
Localized rain totals of 5-6" are possible and could produce flash flooding.
The tornado threat with this round is low.
