(Maxwell, IA) -- After more than 50 years of serving their community, the doors of Logsdon's Grocery are closing due to health issues. The brothers, who grew up in the store, have been a staple in the town and are beloved by customers.

The decision to close the store, which has been in the family for generations, is bittersweet for the Logsdons and the community.

Customers are stopping by to say their goodbyes. They will miss the brothers, the wooden floors, and the convenience of the hometown grocery store.
