(Davenport, IA) -- We'll get a break from the heat in eastern Iowa late tomorrow, but it will come in the form of potentially severe thunderstorms.
Justin Schultz with the National Weather Service says a line of storms with a risk of straight-line winds will drop from the northwest to the southeast Saturday afternoon and evening.
Temperatures on Sunday will drop slightly to the mid-80s before heat and humidity build back in Monday and Tuesday.
Conditions are expected to become more seasonal on Wednesday.
