(Davenport, IA) -- Some areas north of the Quad Cities received 2-3 inches of rain Saturday.

That water is expected to result in flooding on the Rock and Mississippi rivers later this week, but Meteorologist Justin Schultz with the National Weather Service says those estimates don't take into account rain forecast for tonight and tomorrow.

He says the next 36 hours will be a mix of heat, high humidity, and potentially severe thunderstorms for the QCA.
