The Salvation Army says the cooling centers offer air-conditioned spaces and cold bottled water during specific operating hours.
The Salvation Army says anyone in need of relief is welcome to come in from the heat.
Cooling center hours generally mirror normal business hours, and over the next two days those hours will vary by location.
The cooling centers are at the Kroc Center, 2825 Y St., Monday and Tuesday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., North Corps 2424 Pratt St., Monday and Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., and the Citadel Corps, 3738 Cuming St., Monday and Tuesday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
