(Iowa) -- Rain totals varied across Iowa after Tuesday thunderstorms.
Norwalk, just south of Des Moines, saw almost two and a half inches of rain, with southern Iowa seeing significant rainfall as well. Rain totals statewide include:
- Norwalk: 2.71 inches
- Hartford: 2.69 inches
- Carlisle 2.41 inches
- Chariton 1.54 inches
- Grinnell 1.47 inches
- Des Moines 1.13 inches
- Newton 1.08 inches
- Creston 1.05 inches
The storms missed the northwestern part of the state which has seen widespread flooding this week.
