(Crete, NE) -- Six people, three of them children survived a shooting in Crete, Nebraska (southwest of Lincoln) on Friday. The Nebraska State Patrol in a press conference Friday evening said at least two different properties were being investigated in connection to the shooting, one across the street from the other. Neighbors reported hearing the shots around 4:30 p.m. Friday afternoon and called for help. The Nebraska State Patrol said officers found the suspect had apparently taken his own life. All of the victims are expected to survive. This is a developing story.
