Wisconsin Fugitive, Of 30 Years, Has Been Arrested In West Des Moines

(Des Moines, IA) -- Wisconsin fugitive, whose been wanted for 30 years, was arrested in West Des Moines.

The fugitive was a homeless man in West Des Moines, he was arrested for failing to have a reflector on his bicycle.

After initially providing the police with a false name, he finally provided his correct identification. Officers eventually discovered that he had been wanted by authorities in Wisconsin since 1994.

He is wanted for serving five years in prison, then escaping from his halfway house.

The arrest happened on June 26 at West Des Moines Police Station.
