(Minneapolis, MN) -- The woman from North Liberty, Iowa accused of murder after a body was found in the backseat of her car at an accident scene in Minnesota, failed to show for a court hearing Friday.

Margot Lewis was supposed to appear on a Zoom call for a plea hearing.

Police say they found the body of Lewis' former lover, Liara Tsai, in the backseat of a vehicle Lewis was driving when she got into an accident on I-90, east of Rochester, Minnesota two weeks ago.

Lewis is currently being held in a Minnesota jail.
