Early voting ballot applications for the 2024 Nebraska Statewide Presidential General Election will be mailed to voters in late July.
The Douglas County Election Commission is out with a reminder that recipients will be registered voters who signed up to be included on the Douglas County Early Voting Request List.
The 5” x 7” postcard-size mail pieces are printed on green cardstock.
Voters must provide ID information, sign the application portion of the mailing, and return it to the Douglas County Election Commission to receive a ballot by mail; ballots will not be automatically sent to voters who receive the postcard mailing, or who requested a by-mail ballot for previous elections.
Applications may be returned via official ballot drop box, postal mail, email, or fax; depositing them in an official ballot drop box is the most direct way to return them.
At the same time, they request their ballot, voters may sign up to be included on the "Early Voting Request List" for future elections.
More information may be found on www.votedouglascounty.com or by calling (402) 444-VOTE (8683).
Ballot requests may not be accepted via telephone.
