(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A second fire broke out yesterday at the scene of a firefighter's mayday call on Friday.

The Diamond V Mills facility on G Avenue NW was where a Cedar Rapids firefighter fell 30-feet down an elevator shaft while fighting a smoky blaze. He suffered serious, but not life threatening injuries.

Cedar Rapids Fire Chief Greg Smith tells Iowa's News Now both fires were started by people not authorized to be in the abandoned building.
