(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The site of two fires in the past week, one of which resulted in serious injuries to a Cedar Rapids firefighter, is being demolished.

The owner of the old Diamond V Mills building on G Avenue NW says he's got a bid for demolition that will start in six to eight weeks.

A CRFD firefighter fell two stories down an elevator shaft while fighting a fire Friday.

Another fire was set by what the fire chief believes were trespassers on Monday.
