(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Two people are in custody facing multiple charges following a human trafficking investigation in Cedar Rapids.

49-year-old Tana Torres of Cedar Rapids and 34-year-old Jarod Anderson of Hiawatha were taken to the Linn County Correctional Center Thursday, July 11 following an investigation into a missing juvenile female who had been reported missing in another jurisdiction earlier this year before being located in Cedar Rapids in May.

Investigators say Torres and Anderson forced the juvenile into prostitution.

The juvenile is now at a safe location, and no further information is being released at this time.
