(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The city of Cedar Rapids is collecting tree debris following Monday's derecho.

Debris will be collected in the SE and SW quadrants the week of July 22.

Debris will be collected in the NE and NW quadrants the week of July 29.

The last day we will collect debris will be on Friday, August 2.

For logs and large branches, the city says to not put them in your YARDY cart, but to stack them in the right-of-ways between the street and sidewalk or within ten feet of the street if there is no sidewalk.

The city says smaller branches and plant leaves can be placed in the YARDY cart to be picked up on your normal collection day.

The deadline to report vegetative and non-organic debris for collection is noon on Monday, July 22.

More details on collection can be found on the city's website.
