(Linn County, IA) -- Former Linn-Mar volunteer track coach Kameron Beets is sentenced to 14 years in prison for sexual assault.
Beets was sentenced Tuesday after having been convicted of assaulting two students, a 15 year-old and a 17 year-old, at Linn-Mar High School. He took an Alford plea in May of this year, which is not an admission of guilt but an acknowledgement that the trial would result in a guilty verdict.
