(Rock Island, IL) -- Work restoring the Rock Island Arsenal Golf Club is progressing well, but it doesn't look like the venue will open this summer.
Arsenal Golf manager William Starcevich says one of the oldest golf courses in the nation needed a lot of TLC to get back in playing shape.
The course will open next summer, but officials hope to have a sneak preview golf event sometime this Fall.
