(Postville, IA) -- A northeast Iowa couple is recovering in the hospital after a crash Saturday afternoon.
The Allamakee County Sheriff's Office says 77 year-old Wayne Barrett and 74 year-old Helen Barrett were driving a three-wheeled motorbike when they were hit head-on Saturday afternoon. Investigators say both were ejected from the bike and were taken to a hospital in Decorah in serious condition. The driver of the car, 31 year-old Mitchell Meyer, was not hurt in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
