(Jasper Co, IA) -- The Jasper County Sheriff's Office is looking for the driver of a black pickup truck with Ohio plates.
Jasper County Sheriff's Deputy Brad Shutts says the driver was seen acting suspiciously and repeatedly passed another car on Highway 14 heading toward Newton on July 19 at around 5:30 p.m.
He says the caller noticed some flashing lights in the front of his vehicle, then the suspected vehicle passed him, rolled down his window during the pass, and said "I just saved your life".
Shutts says they are looking at security video, and asking anyone else who may have had a similar experience to contact the Jasper County Sheriff Department at (641)-791-7081.
