(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Cedar Rapids is spending ten million dollars to upgrade Wright Brothers Boulevard, and two other roads near the Interstate 380 airport exit. That interchange is being converted into a diverging diamond.

The project is a joint effort with the Iowa DOT to improve road capacity in a rapidly growing area of the Corridor.

The complete project will widen the interstate to six lanes from the Swisher interchange to just south of U.S. Highway 30 at a cost of $112-million.
