(Iowa City, IA) -- An investigation is underway after a dog bite Thursday in Iowa City.
The Iowa City Animal Services is investigating a dog bite that was reported around 2:20 Thursday afternoon. The dog is being described as a medium-sized pitbull mix. Investigators are trying to determine the dog's rabies vaccine status.
The bite happened on the bike trail near Meadow Street and south of Friendship Street.
