(Maquoketa, IA) -- A stunt driver is recovering after a stunt went wrong at the Jackson County Fairgrounds Sunday.
The Iowa State Patrol says a stunt driver was airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after their car crashed into a camper just after 9pm as part of a stunt. Investigators say the driver passed out after the crash, despite the car continuing off the track and hitting a shed. The condition of the driver has not yet been released, and the crash remains under investigation.
