(Waverly, IA) -- A construction project to replace the Iowa 3 Bridge in Waverly will begin next week.
Starting Monday, August 5th, the Iowa Department of Transportation will start the project to replace the bridge over the Cedar River in downtown. Detours will be posted throughout the project, which is expected to continue through the winter. Pedestrians will still be able to access businesses in the area during construction.
The project is expected to be finished in the fall of next year.
