(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines Public Works will pick-up tree debris from last night's storm, starting Monday. Debris must be less than 18-inches in diameter and cut to less than 10-feet in length. Debris should not block sidewalks or roadways. There will only be one pass city wide.

The city's Compost Center at 1601 Harriet Street will also be open for Des Moines residents who wish to drop off yard waste or tree debris.

Solid waste collection services for trash, recycling and yard waste will not be impacted and will operate on their usual schedule.

Earlier this month Des Moines city crews hauled away 900 truck loads of tree debris, after severe storms hit the area.
