Self-Employed Iowans Eligible For FEMA Assistance

(Des Moines, IA) -- Self-employed Iowans are now eligible for FEMA assistance.

The agency says their programs can help replace items that would usually be given by a company like a computer, or tools for manual labor. Self-employed Iowans in 27 counties under disaster declarations are eligible for FEMA aid.

Those include Adair, Adams, Buena Vista, Cedar, Cherokee, Clarke, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Harrison, Humboldt, Jasper, Lyon, Mills, Montgomery, O'Brien, Osceola, Palo Alto, Plymouth, Polk, Pottawattamie, Ringgold, Shelby, Sioux, Story, Union, and Woodbury counties.
