EPA Ends Oversight Of Marengo Explosion Clean-Up

(Marengo, IA) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is ending oversight of clean-up at a recycling facility in Marengo that exploded nearly two years ago.

Twenty employees of the C6-Zero plant were injured in the blast and part of Marengo was evacuated.

The EPA says they'll hand things back to the Iowa DNR for assessment.
