The Salvation Army is again opening cooling centers in Omaha Monday to help provide relief from the heat, including those dealing with power outages.
Cooling centers offer air-conditioned spaces and cold bottled water during specific operating hours.
One center is at the North Corps, 24th and Pratt Streets, until four p.m. Monday.
The other is at the Kroc Center Omaha, 28th and "Y" Streets, until seven p.m.
