(Des Moines, IA) -- A Des Moines man is recovering from minor injuries after a naked man stole his car.
Police say Tyler Jonsson was seen running naked in downtown Court Avenue just before 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
Video footage shows Jonsson running up to the car, jumping over the driver and into the passenger seat.
The driver then gets out, and punches Johnson in the face.
Jonsson then gets into the driver's seat, pulling away and knocking the driver to the ground.
Police say they later found him and the car on after he hit a tree near East Sixth and Court Avenue.
He's now charged with Theft and Driving While Barred.
