(Macomb, IL) -- As expected, Western Illinois University's Board of Trustees voted to cut jobs in an effort to balance their books.

WIU Interim President Dr. Kristi Mindrup says the University has run out of options after too many years of expenses outpacing revenues.

So far, the trustees aren't saying who will lose their jobs when, and whether that will happen at the Macomb, or Moline campus, or both.
