(Eldridge, IA) -- A Quad Cities area municipality is opening up land for development.
Eldridge is rezoning just under 115 acres, and is working with owners of nearly 120 more acres to annex their land into the municipality for industrial development.
City leaders think Eldridge is the next industrial hotspot as Davenport's industrial park north of Interstate 80 is nearly full.
