(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- If it seems like it never stopped raining in July in the Corridor, there's a reason

Cedar Rapids recorded it's fourth wettest July on record. 9.29 inches of rain fell last month, over twice the normal average.

Iowa City saw just over 7-inches of rain fall in July.

The excessive rain this summer ended four years of drought.

The U.S. Drought Monitor released last Thursday showed no drought or abnormally dry conditions in the entire state for the first time since 2020.
