(Des Moines, IA) -- A former county detention officer is booked in Polk County, accused of bringing contraband into the county jail. The Polk County Sheriff's Office says 26 year-old Mario Rocha worked with an inmate and brought K2, a synthetic marijuana, into the jail. He's facing four counts. The sheriff says some procedures are being changed at the jail in an effort at preventing a similar situation happening again. There are no charges against the inmate at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
