No One Hurt After House Fire in Cedar Rapids Monday Night

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- No one is hurt after a house fire in Cedar Rapids Monday night.

The Cedar Rapids Fire Department says the fire was reported around 11:15pm Monday at a home in the 1000th block of 20th Street SE. When firefighters arrived, they located the fire inside the back of the home and on the back porch. Crews were able to quickly put the fire out.

Four people were home when the fire started, and all four were able to make it out safely. The fire caused significant damage to the home.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and remains under investigation.
