(Iowa) -- Sports betting in Iowa has seen billions of dollars wagered in-person and online in the five year's it's been legal.
The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission says just in the 2024 fiscal year, $2.6 Million have been wagered.
When sports betting first became legal in 2019, Iowans had to register at Iowa licensed casinos, but that changed in 2021.
Now, anyone interested in betting can register online with any licensed app in the state.
