USAF Thunderbirds To Honor Fallen Omaha Marine

The U. S. Air Force Thunderbirds will honor and remember Marine Corporal Daegan Page as the Fallen Warrior of this weekend's "Defenders of Freedom Air & Space Show" at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.

The jet demonstration team will dedicate their Sunday, August 25th, performance to the memory of Cpl. Page, who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving his country.

Daegan Page, a native of Omaha, served with honor and distinction in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was among the 13 service members who lost their lives during the evacuation mission in Kabul, Afghanistan in August of 2021.

The 55th Wing at Offutt Air Force Base made the nomination of Cpl. Page as the Defenders of Freedom Air & Space Show’s Fallen Warrior, saying the tribute reflects the community's respect and admiration for Cpl. Page and his family.

Following the Thunderbirds’ aerial demonstration on Sunday, August 25th, a private ceremony will be held to honor and remember Cpl. Page.
