(West Branch, IA) -- A global wind energy company is hiring in Iowa.
Nordex Group is restarting production at it's West Branch facility next year.
The company will hire more than 100 employees to restart manufacturing of wind turbine housings in June.
A spokesperson says Nordex is increasing production due to tax credits available in the federal Inflation Reduction Act.
West Branch Mayor Roger Laughlin says by the the city is prepping more than 100 housing units to accommodate the new workers.
