(Ames, IA) -- A bug-filled event will take place at Iowa State this weekend. The annual Bug Village is free to attend and open to the public on Saturday from noon until 3 p.m. with a sensory-friendly hour from 11 a.m. to noon. Organizers say 150 different arthropods will be available for viewing. The day also includes samples of air-fried cicadas and a bug costume contest. It will take place at the university's Advanced Teaching and Research Building.
