The skies in the Omaha Metro, especially over Bellevue, will start to get busy.
The U-S Air Force Thunderbirds fighter jet demonstration team is scheduled to arrive at Offutt Air Force Base at 2:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon ahead of this weekend's Air & Space Show and Open House at the base in South Bellevue.
This weekend, the gates open at 9 a.m. each day of the show, Saturday and Sunday.
Some of the planes will be in the air Friday midday as pilots rehearse their routines ahead of the show.
