Former High School Teacher Charged With Threatening To Blow Up The School

(DeWitt, IA) -- A former Iowa high school teacher is charged with threatening to blow up a wing of Central DeWitt High School.

Police say 29-year-old Alisa Sage, sent a message to a sheriff's deputy saying she was going to blow up a food trailer and CTE wing of the building.

Sage is charged with threat with explosive or incendiary device

She has an arraignment scheduled for August 29 and a preliminary hearing scheduled for August 30.

Earlier this month, Sage was also charged in connection with a police chase in Scott County.
